The Opicina Tram is unique in Europe with a difference in altitude of 330 m.
The Opicina Tramway is a real tourist attraction. The line, inaugurated in 1902, connects the center of #Trieste with the town of Opicina, on the #Carso. The route is 5.2 km long and reaches an altitude of 334 meters, offering breathtaking views of the city and the Gulf.
It will be operational soon after a long period of maintenance shutdown.
